Problem Note 47993: DataFlux® Federation Server might fail to start, after installing SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager
DataFlux Federation Server is a component that must be installed when you install SAS Real-Time Decision Manager. However, DataFlux Federation Server might fail to start because of an invalid value in the FSManager configuration file.
In order to successfully start DataFlux Federation Server, update the configuration file
<SASHome>\SASDataFluxFederationServer\etc\dfs_serv.xml
Change the following line:
<Option name="URI">iom://<your-machine>.%USERDNSDOMAIN%:21030;
Enter your machine name and fully qualified domain name in the URI, as in the example below:
<Option name="URI">iom://SASBAP.demo.sas.com:21030;
Save the change, and re-start DataFlux Federation Server, DataFlux Authentication Server, and DataFlux Federation Server Manager.
